Burnett Financial Planning consists of local advisers with many years of experience who believe strongly that everyone should have access to quality Independent Financial Advice whether you have an established nest egg or are just starting out.
In the past it was easy to simply walk into any high street bank and there would be an adviser available to speak to. Unfortunately, as a result of bad quality, transient advice many of the traditional large institutions have now all but abandoned their clients to call centres or at best, remote Managers - even the top end "Wealth Management" divisions are now largely centralised leaving a good number of customers without access to the good quality, professional advice they deserve.
We believe strongly in providing easy access to qualified advice and our ethos has always been that wealth does not create itself and very few of us are born into this world with money, but we can create our own in simple, small stages". This is why we do not require you to have a "minimum" amount of money to benefit from our services.

As a family run company we understand that 9-5 doesn't work for everyone and believe that our clients should be our first and only priority, not the number of hours you've worked over your 'norm' this week or how many holiday days you didn't take!

At the moment we are particularly looking for the following:

IFA
You might currently be a tied or company Financial Adviser looking to improve the advice you can give to clients, or an existing IFA looking for a role with more autonomy and fewer 'targets'. You will believe, like us, that providing well planned advice is far better than 'getting a sale' and your clients will be more important than your bottom line. If this sounds like you we'd love to hear from you. We can offer either an employed or self-employed role.

Mortgage Arranger
As with our IFA role, we'd love to add a Mortgage arranger to our team.
​
Admin
We would love to speak to someone with some administration experience who is confident in producing written reports and speaking to client on the phone (this is NOT a sales role so no 'cold-calling'!) We'd prefer someone who wants to work part time and the role would suit working around School age children, studying or just getting a better work/life balance.
​
Paraplanner
Initially we'd be interested in speaking to a freelance paraplanner who would be interested in backgrounding some larger or more complex cases as they come up. This might also suit someone wanting to work part time from home around other commitments or childcare. Experience and qualifications are essential for this role.
